Home Study Program - Fascial Balancing: Upper Quadrant The FBUQ Home Study Program outline an upper body fascial evaluation and a soft tissue treatment approach to treat fascial tension or scar tissue. The DVD and study guide is divided into an easy to use format allowing you to view the upper quadrant evaluation and to view each individual FB treatment technique for the anterior torso (hyoid region, clavicles, sternum, anterior rib cage, diaphragms, and abdomen) and the upper extremities (shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand). This DVD and study guide outline and review the principles and practice of Fascial Balancing (FB). The purpose of FB is to treat fascial tension or scar tissue which can be found at the superficial level, the deep level around muscles, bones, joints and organs and at the deepest level around the brain and spinal cord. FB utilizes both short and long lever mechanical, and listening; following fascial balancing techniques to address fascial dysfunction. FB helps to reduce fascial tension, muscle tension, and pain, and will help to increase joint mobility, decrease swelling, and restore proper joint biomechanics, functional ROM and postural alignment. FB will also improve the flow of nerves, arteries, veins, lymphatics and energy to, within and from every organ and body part. This results in improved health and homeostasis. Fascial Balancing is an expansion of the technique formerly referred to as Fascial Release. The video will feature references to Fascial Release now called Fascial Balancing.
