Visceral Manipulation

Abdomen 1 (VM1)

Assessment of Structural Relationships between Viscera, and their Fascial or Ligamentous Attachments to the Musculoskeletal System

(Corresponds to former VM1A.)

Prerequisite: This course is intended for licensed or certified healthcare professionals, or for students nearing completion in their studies to become a healthcare professional, with palpation skills and experience as well as anatomical knowledge. Upon registration you will receive a list of anatomical terms and structures to review in advance of the course to help you achieve maximum benefit from attending.

Prerequisite: VM1 or VM1-L

Abdomen 2-Hybrid Virtual and In-Person (VM2)

Prerequisite: VM1 or VM1-L

The Pelvis (VM3)

Manual Thermal Evaluation and Introduction to VisceroEmotional (VM5)

Prerequisite: VM3 and VM4.

Listening Techniques 1: An Integrative Approach to Evaluation (LT1)

Prerequisite: The pre-requisite for attending LT1 is Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 1 (VM1)

Listening Techniques 2: An Adv Evaluation Approach to Total Body Systems (LT2)

Prerequisite: Visceral Manipulation: Listening Techniques 1: An Integrative Approach to Evaluation (LT1), VM3 or VM4 and a year of experience using the LT1 material. NM1 and VM6 course attendance are not required, but recommended as this course material can enhance your LT2 workshop experience.

Visceral Lymphatic Balancing (VLB1)

Prerequisite: VM2

Applications for Pediatrics (VAP and VMPED)

Prerequisites VAP: VM2 (Abdomen 2) and training in CranioSacral Therapy. NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1), VM4 (Thorax) and Listening Techniques (LT) are recommended, but not required. Typically a 4 day class.
Prerequisites VMPED: VM2 (Abdomen 2), NM1 (Neuromeningeal Manipulation 1) and Listening Techniques (LT). Typically a 3 day class.

Visceral Manipulation Dissection (VMD)

Prerequisite: VM1 or VMIA

Advanced Visceral Components of the Neck and Thorax (VMAT)

Prerequisite: VM4

Visceral Vascular Manipulation: Upper Body (VVMU)

Prerequisite: VM4

Visceral Vascular Manipulation: Lower Body (VVML)

Prerequisite: VM4

Strategic Crossroads of the Body 1 (SCB1)

Prerequisite: VM2 and MALE OR MAUE OR MASP; OR VM2 and NM2 OR NM3; OR VM2 and VVMU or VVML.

Clinical Applications for Disc Disorders; Soft Tissue Applications (BICADD)

Prerequisite: VM2 and MALE OR MAUE OR MASP; OR VM2 and NM2 OR NM3; OR VM2 and VVMU or VVML

Urogenital Manipulation

Prerequisite: Visceral Manipulation: The Pelvis (VM3); see specific courses listed for specific details about attendance requirements and course outline.

Visceral Manipulation Introduction (VMINT)

Prerequisite: This course is intended for licensed or certified healthcare professionals, or for students nearing completion in their studies to become a healthcare professional, with palpation skills and experience as well as anatomical knowledge.

Visceral Manipulation: Advanced Clinical Applications

Prerequisite: For each ACA courses, the pre-requisite is VM1, VM2, VM3 and VM4. It is recommended to have also attended LT1.



The Advanced Clinical Applications for Common Gastrointestinal Issues - 1 - Virtual Component program is available to VM1 alumni.



Prerequisite: For Clinical Rounds - Professional healthcare practitioner, student in healthcare program or graduate awaiting licensure/accreditation.

Physiological and Neuroendocrine Effects of Soft Tissue Treatment (AVMHC)

Prerequisite: Visceral Vascular Manipulation: Lower Body (VVML); and Visceral Manipulation: The Pelvis (VM3) or Visceral
Manipulation: The Thorax (VM4)

Advanced Visceral Manipulation: Trauma (AVMT)

Prerequisite: Visceral Manipulation 4: The Thorax (VM4) and Neural Manipulation: Neuromeningeal Manipulation; An Integrative Approach to Trauma (NM1)

Advanced Visceral Manipulation: The Brain

Prerequisite AVMTB: Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 1 (VM1) and Listening Techniques 1; An Integrative Approach to Evaluation (LT1); or having attended VM6 prior to 2008

Prerequisite AVMTB2: Advanced Visceral Manipulation: The Brain (AVMTB)
